Bliss Aesthetics, a fast-growing healthtech startup helping patients connect with board-certified cosmetic surgeons, has raised $17.5 million in seed funding to scale its AI-driven platform and expand into new U.S. markets.
The seed round was led by Shine Capital, with backing from Synchrony Ventures, Sheva Ventures, Point72 Ventures, and Cerca Partners.
Bliss is reshaping how people discover and choose plastic surgery providers. Its AI-powered platform not only matches patients with qualified surgeons but also gives them a visual preview of potential procedure outcomes. In addition, Bliss helps patients understand available financing options and offers round-the-clock access to a dedicated care consultant—bridging both trust and convenience in the cosmetic surgery journey.
Currently, Bliss operates in six states—Florida, Texas, Illinois, Arizona, Michigan, and North Carolina—and is preparing to launch in Ohio as part of its nationwide rollout strategy.
Co-founder and CEO Gal Yosef shared that the funding will fuel rapid provider expansion and bring Bliss’s services to more regions. “We’ve seen our provider network grow by 500% since launch,” Yosef said. “This new investment allows us to ride that momentum and continue giving patients intelligent, personalized tools to make confident and cost-conscious decisions. At the same time, we empower physicians to treat more patients while reducing admin overhead.”
Bliss’s core advantage lies in its use of generative AI for personalized surgeon matching and visual outcome simulation. This technology-driven approach helps patients feel more informed, while doctors benefit from a streamlined onboarding experience and better-prepared patients.
Competitive Landscape: Zocdoc, ArmadaHealth, and the Future of Patient Matchmaking
Bliss joins a growing group of tech startups transforming how patients access care. Zocdoc, a major name in this space, rolled out an AI-powered guided search tool in 2024 that improves provider discovery by analyzing a patient’s symptoms and treatment goals. Zocdoc previously raised $150 million in 2021 from Francisco Partners to expand its platform and marketing efforts.
Meanwhile, ArmadaHealth’s QualityCare Connect service continues to gain traction by curating data-driven provider matches for members. Its system focuses on ensuring patients receive highly personalized physician recommendations based on quality metrics and clinical fit.
As demand rises for personalized and tech-enabled healthcare solutions, Bliss Aesthetics is carving out a niche in the cosmetic surgery market—using AI not just for convenience, but to enhance confidence and decision-making for every patient.
