As AI-driven layoffs surge, a growing number of skilled professionals and gig workers find themselves unemployed. While some companies promote replacing human workers with AI, Warsaw-based Global Work is taking the opposite route—using artificial intelligence to help people land jobs, not lose them.
The startup’s AI-powered platform supports job seekers through every step of the application process. From verifying job postings to automatically applying, building standout resumes, and tailoring cover letters, Global Work makes finding remote work easier and safer. Its personalized approach echoes emerging global trends, such as South Korea’s “The Work” service, which uses AI to deliver customized job recommendations.
Global Work recently secured $1.25 million in pre-seed funding to scale its innovative platform. TMT Investments led the round, with backing from Pre-Seed to Succeed—a European early-stage investment program—alongside AltaIR Capital, Yellow Rocks, Smart Partnership Capital, and I2BF Global Ventures. With this new funding, the company’s total raised now stands at $1.4 million.
Global Work plans to use the new capital to supercharge its AI features. Speaking exclusively to TFN, CEO and co-founder Alex Chepovoi shared that upcoming features include an AI-driven career guidance test to help users discover the best career paths and personalized interview coaching tools designed to boost confidence and success rates.
Founded in 2023 by Chepovoi and Alex Dyadischev, the Warsaw-based startup focuses entirely on remote job seekers. Global Work provides monthly access to over 400,000 verified remote job listings—a massive database filtered through both AI and human reviews to eliminate scams and duplicates. This focus on quality sets the platform apart from traditional job boards.
Chepovoi brings a strong entrepreneurial background, having co-founded five startups—one of which was successfully acquired. His leadership experience spans companies like Expert Remote, auxilium, Zoomerapps, SmartexLab, FightRoutine, and CareerMug.
According to Chepovoi, the idea for Global Work came while scaling Expert Remote. “We saw talented candidates struggling to secure remote jobs. Instead of using AI to replace jobs, we decided to leverage it to help people find better opportunities. That’s why we shifted our focus from B2B to B2C,” he explained.
In a market where mass layoffs are increasing due to AI and advanced developer tools, Global Work is doubling down on helping displaced professionals and gig workers find meaningful work. Their mission is clear—simplify the job search for global remote roles while proving AI can be a force for good in the employment market.
The platform is designed to take the hassle out of job hunting. Each remote job is verified and processed through AI, ensuring that applicants only see relevant, real opportunities. Features like AutoApply enable candidates to send multiple applications simultaneously, while the AI system formats and submits them automatically. Job seekers can then track their progress directly from their inboxes.
“We’re building the largest verified remote jobs database,” said Chepovoi. “Our AI CV Builder, Cover Letter Generator, and AutoApply system ensure job seekers stay ahead.”
Additionally, the platform plans to launch an advanced AI career guidance test. This tool will analyze users’ skills, preferences, and market demands to recommend optimal career paths—helping users navigate career changes with confidence.
Global Work faces competition from platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor, but Chepovoi remains confident. “LinkedIn has just introduced AI features for recruiter and professional matching—a feature we’ve offered from day one. But our AI goes beyond that, covering the entire job search journey.”
By focusing solely on remote roles, Global Work is tapping into a growing trend reshaping the global workforce. The rise of remote-first companies has transformed traditional hiring models, creating new opportunities for platforms that effectively connect remote talent with global employers.
With this funding round, Global Work is accelerating its goal to become the go-to AI platform for remote job seekers. “Our vision is simple—we aim to match one million candidates to remote roles within the next five years,” Chepovoi revealed.
Investors are equally optimistic. “Global Work isn’t just growing fast—they’re tapping into a massive market opportunity by using AI for real impact,” shared Artyom Iniutin, Managing Partner at TMT Investments.
Sergei Bogdanov, Managing Partner at Yellow Rocks, added: “We back innovations that change lives, not just flashy ideas. Global Work is reshaping job hunting right now, which is invaluable in today’s startup world.”
