Miggo Security, an Israeli cybersecurity startup, has secured $17 million in Series A funding to scale its advanced Application Detection and Response (ADR) platform. The round was led by U.S.-based SYN Ventures, with continued backing from YL Ventures, bringing Miggo’s total funding to approximately $24.5 million.

This fresh injection of capital is aimed at expanding the company’s engineering team and accelerating its push into the enterprise market. Miggo’s core technology embeds directly into live applications, where it actively monitors real-time data flows and defends against threats before traditional tools can react.

Unlike conventional detection systems that simply flag threats, Miggo’s platform is designed to block attacks at runtime. Its DeepTracing engine continuously maps how microservices, APIs, and identity paths are supposed to behave. When it spots something unusual—like suspicious access patterns or tampered data flows—it acts instantly, stopping the threat cold.

CEO and co-founder Daniel Shechter emphasized that Miggo was built to address a growing challenge: the widening gap between how fast developers release code and how fast adversaries exploit vulnerabilities. According to Shechter, “We’re not in the business of sending alerts. We’re here to block breaches in real-time while your team works on the fix.”

Founded in 2023 with a $7.5 million seed round, Miggo Security has already begun securing mission-critical systems across sectors like finance, e-commerce, and software-as-a-service (SaaS). The company’s technology sits at the application layer, offering deeper visibility and faster defense than endpoint tools alone.

As cyber threats grow more complex—particularly those powered by AI—Miggo’s proactive defense model could mark a major shift in how organizations secure their applications. With this new funding, Miggo is betting big on runtime protection becoming a new standard for modern enterprises.
