Many industries today are stuck in the past—offering outdated products, ignoring sustainability, and failing to meet modern consumer expectations. That’s where The Wild Ventures steps in. This Swedish-founded startup is building a new wave of AI-powered sustainable brands designed to transform forgotten sectors with creativity, tech, and purpose.

The Stockholm-based company has just closed its first funding round, securing $750,000 in angel investment at a $7 million post-money valuation. Backed by an impressive lineup of industry veterans and top-tier investors, the startup is gearing up to scale its brand portfolio—starting with Wild Palace and Poositive Pets.

Backed by Startup Icons and VC Powerhouses

The investor roster reflects strong confidence in The Wild Ventures’ vision. Notable names include Alex Bouaziz (Founder & CEO of Deel), JJ Chai (Founder of Rainforest), En Ming Ong (Rocket Eyewear), Zenos Schmickrath (Hmlet), and Stefan Lindeberg (Founder of Creandum).

The list also features founders of Series B pet insurtech Lassie, ex-CEOs like Thomas Ekman (Axel Johnson, Dustin, Tele2), Indra Sharma (Peak Capital), Janina Aarts (ex-CFO of H&M Beauty), Parham Benisi (Pophouse), and Philippe Klintefelt Collet (former Partner at GFC and CSFO at Aibidia). These experienced backers bring not only capital but also valuable insight into scaling brand-driven businesses.

Co-founder Bjorn Bergstrom shared with TFN, “We’re just getting started. This $750K round gives us the momentum to scale our first two brands and build traction using an organic growth flywheel.”

Rethinking Brand Creation with AI and Sustainability

Founded by a creative and strategic team including Arvid Lithander (former creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi and Wieden+Kennedy), Shannon Cullum (ex-MullenLowe and Saatchi & Saatchi), Malin Renström, and Bjorn Bergstrom, The Wild Ventures officially launched on April 3, 2025.

Their mission? To rethink how brands are created—leveraging AI to fuel innovation and scalability while embedding sustainability and creativity at the core. The team identifies overlooked sectors—like wallpaper, pet accessories, and packaging—and introduces fresh, disruptive brands that connect deeply with modern consumers.

“We created The Wild Ventures to challenge stagnant sectors and reintroduce customer obsession, community, and world-class design—powered by sustainability and AI,” said Bergstrom.

A Smarter, Greener Brand House Model

Instead of building one mega brand, The Wild Ventures is forming a portfolio of next-generation, impact-focused brands. Each brand under its umbrella is designed to stand out in its niche—combining storytelling, eco-conscious design, and scalable AI tools to gain rapid traction.

While they do develop their own in-house brands, The Wild Ventures also plans to invest in external startups that align with their mission. This includes providing funding, mentorship, and strategic support to help founders grow.

The company’s approach borrows from conglomerates like LVMH and Procter & Gamble, but with a key twist—sustainability and digital efficiency sit at the core. “We don’t see ourselves competing directly at the group level. Our real competition happens on a brand-by-brand basis,” said Bergstrom. “We’re bringing something new to industries that desperately need it.”

A Growing Ecosystem of Sustainable Innovation

By Fall 2024, The Wild Ventures had launched three wholly-owned brands—Wild Palace, Poositive Pets, and Future Paper. Over the next 3–5 years, they plan to scale up to at least 10 brands, mixing full and partial ownership models. This expansion will focus on sectors that combine large market potential with a clear need for innovation and better brand experiences.

At the heart of their strategy is the integration of AI—not just for automation, but for enhancing creativity, customer insight, and operational agility. This allows their brands to move fast, respond to real-time demand, and deliver products that stand out.

The Wild Ventures isn’t just another brand builder—it’s a new kind of brand ecosystem. One that aims to redefine industries by putting sustainability, innovation, and technology first.
